Cerita Singkat Mengikuti Seleksi MT Lippo Cikarang

Tidak terasa sudah sangat lama waktu itu berlalu hingga sangat penat dan terasa BU untuk bisa menjalani hidup kedepan. Saya sudah melalui hari² yang sangat free selama 6 bulan akibat resign dari pekerjaan lama saya yg ada di Semarang. Alasannya tentu teman-temab juga sudah paham pastinya. Apa? Belum tau? Langsung tanya aja comment di bawah. 


Okey lanjut, saya ingin bercerita mengenai pengalaman saya mengikuti seleksi MT Lippo Cikarang yang ada di Semarang. 
Waktu itu saya sangat aktif mengikuti Job Seeker Event yang diadakan di Kampus² Kota. Contohnya Jogja, Solo, Salatiga dan Semarang. Di Kota tersebut banyak sekali perusahaan besar yang join untuk buka lowongan di kampus² besar yang mengadakan Event Lowongan tersebut. 
Bukan hanya satu atau dua kali tapi hingga berkali-kali saya melalui perjalan dari kota ke kota untuk mencari pekerjaan yang sekiranya pas untuk penat dan BU tadi. 😂
Bukan deng, tentunya untukasa depan yg lebih cerah. Haha

Okey sudah itu aja pembukaannya. Sampai pada waktu itu saya mengikuti job fair di Semarang - Kampus Unika. Saya memasukkan lowongan ke beberapa perusahaan yg saya inginkan, namun tidak banyak waktu itu. Saya sudah membawa 5/6 lamaran namun hanya 3 perusahaan yg saya masukkan. Salah satunya adalah Lippo Cikarang. Sebenernya waktu mengikuti event di Jogja saya sudah pernah melihat Stan Lippo Cikarang ini. Namun, karena waktu itu sangat ramai jadi saya melewatinya. Disamping saya juga tidak terlalu paham, yah, saya hanya mencoba beberapa perusahaan lainnya yg sesuai dengan Kriteria saya. 

Sampai akhirnya ternyata pada minggu yanh bersamaan saya mendapatkan panggilan pada lowongan yg saya masukkan di Semarang ini. Betul, saya mengikuti seleksi di Kampus Unika, dimana saat itu sekitar 200 orang lainnya mengantri bersama saya. 

Tanpa lama lagi, seleksi itu dimulai dan dimulailah dengan pembukaan, perkenalan, dan penyampaian latar belakang pada Perusahaan. Saya sudah sering mendengar tentang Brand yang sangat terkenal hingga di TV pada saat itu yaitu salah satu Project Meikarta. Yap, salah satu yg di umumkan adalah Mega Project ini dengan intonasinya yg ciri khas... Yaitu Meeiii--Karta..

Okay setelah itu dimulailah babak pertama yaitu wawancara. Pemilihannya tidak dilakukan dengan test tertulis, namun langsung interview. Dibagai 2 PT dan MT. Untuk teman-teman yg melamar PT langsung di wawancarai oleh Direksi yaitu Bapak Ju Kian Salim. Dan untuk MT oleh rekan-rekan HRD dan Ketua HRD ibu Heidi.  
Pembukaan dilaksanakan pada pukul 9 dan saya menunggu antrian hingga pukul 15:30 siang. Perut sudah krucuk². Hingga akhirnya salah satu dr teman HRD mewawancarai saya. Dipanggil 3 orang dan berikutnya disaring masuk ke orang berikutnya. Hingga saya di wawancarai secara pribadi dengan Ibu Ketua HRD. Pada pertanyaannya salah satu pertanyaannya berkaitan dengan hal rohani. Hal ini sangat berbeda bagi saya dengan interview di perusahaan umum lainnya dan saya sangat terbuka. Saya semakin memahami background perusahaan ini memiliki pimpinan yg religius. 

Waktu berjalan dan saya juga mulai apply² lowongan di tempat lain karena belum ada panggilan. Dalam pikiran saya sudah pasti tidak masuk karena pertanyaan hanyalah hal umum dan tidak ada test tertulis jadi hanya seperti formalitas hingga akhirnya.... Saya mendapatkan sms untuk mengikuti seleksi di Jogja.

Saya sangat kaget karena ternyata saya masuk dalam penyisihan tersebut. Dan siapa sangka ternyata saya juga lolos pada rekeuitmen MT di perusahaan lainnya. Tanpa disangka, pada waktu itu saya masuk ke dalam seleksi 2 perusahaan dalam selisih 2 hari saja. Hari yang pertama mengikuti seleksi di UGM untuk MT lembaga financial. Dan Hari ke-2 di Atmajaya untuk MT Lippo Cikarang ini. 

Dalam benak saya, siapa cepat dia yg saya ambil. Dan saya dapat info kalau seleksi MT perusahaan financial yg saya ikuti itu akan diumumkan pada hari itu juga jikaaaa lolos. Yang berarti, kalau malam nya saya terima kabar saya lolos, maka saya kayaknya ngga perlu lagi untuk ikut MT yang ke 2 itu.. Tapi, ternyata hingga malam saya tidak mendapat kabar. Sampai akhirnya saya menyadari bahwa saya tidak lolos. 

Okey Hari ke 2 waktunya buat semangat ikuti seleksi di Atmajaya untuk PT Lippo Cikarang. Dan ternyata saya ngga duga hanya segelintir orang saja yg dipanggil. Saya sangat surprise, tapi semakin menyudutkan saya karena hal membuktikan bahwa kesempatannya semakin kecil. Kenapa? Karenaa.... Eits yg mau tau komen yah..

Lalu seleksinya lagi² hanya interview oleh 2 Direksi. Yang pertama Pak Ju Kian Salim, dan yang Kedua Pak Sony Direksi Keuangan. Lalu, saya pun mendapatkan giliran interview ke Pak Sony. Dia bertanya apakah bisa bahasa inggris, dan saya pun pada saat itu kurang lancar, karena mneceritakan Past. Seolah² mikir ini Verb 2 nya udah bener belum yah.. Langsung saya alihkan pake bahasa Indo aja. Dari situ saya langsung pesimis. Sepertinya saya akan tidak masuk lagi. Dan selesai dari interview itu, hari pun menjadi Kelabu. Ya... Karena 2 2 nya ga lolos kan?? 

Sampai tiba².... Hari itu.
Saya sedang asyik berenang pagi² di Kolam renang langganan saya. Dan Hape berbunyi, dalam pikiran pasti orang rumah udah nanya lagi dimana? Ngapain? Bla bla bla??... Jadi malas angkat. Tapi seperti ada kesan pengen angkat telepon nya. Karena aneh banget kenapa, pas lagi renang tapi denger bunyi telepon. Biasanya kalo lagi renang ga pernah denger bunyi²an.. udah fokus aja gitu buat renang. 

Dan.. Waw.. Selamat Anda diterima di PT Lippo Cikarang untuk kontrak MT bla bla...langsung seperti mau koprol tapi ga bisa dong. Hehe..

Ternyata saya diterima. 

Tak lama saya mendapatkan email offering dan saya segera tanda tangani. Lalu, tak lama seminggu kemudian saya mendapatkan telepon lagi dari MT finance tersebut. Di utarakan kalau saya diterima buat masuk ke dalam MT tersebut. Saya semakin shock lagi.. Kenapa jadi diterima 2 2 nya gini ya? 😇

Namun, karena sudah offering ke Lippo Cikarang jadi saya memberikan pemahaman ke PT tersebut dan akhirnya mereka menyayangkan nya. Kata mereka lagi perlu orang untuk area Jawa Tengah. Dimana itu tempat saya banget. Namun, apalah boleg buat, semua sudah terjadi dan lewat. Yang perlu dikerjakan adalah bersyukur dan bersyukur. Ternyata dibalik hal-hal itu ada sesuatu yg terjadi di depannya. Sejak saat itu saya memiliki pemandangan yang selalu positif terhadap suatu hal. Walaupun hal itu negatif, saya selalu berusaha melihat dari kacamata lainnya. Jika saya menjadi mereka, Jika orang lain melihat, dan lainnya. 

Buat rekan-rekan semua jangan pernah putus asa, dan kayakan dirimu dengan pengalaman dan pengetahuan. Jika kamu belum diterima bukan berarti kamu bodoh namun hanya perusahaan nya saja yg belum cocok sama orang seperti kamu. Bukan berarti perusahaan lainnya tidak cocok. Terus aja lamar sampai menemukan yang cocok. Jika masa nya tiba, pekerjaan itu tidak ada yg cocok, mungkin memang lebih baik berbisnis dulu atau mencari komunitas yang bisa support passion dari rekan-rekan semua.

Lowongan Kerja AlertAsia Foundation


Yayasan ALERTAsia, as part of its Global Health Securities Partner Engagement project, a Global Health Security Agenda program, is seeking applicants to fill the following positions to assist one of its partners, the Surveillance Sub-directorate of the Center for Diseases Control and Prevention (Pusat Pengendalian Penyakit, P2P) of the Indonesia Ministry of Health, for its Field Epidemiology Training Program Secretariat in organization strengthening and field epidemiology workforce capacity building. The project is a multi year project with estimated completion on September 2020 through the award from the Global Health Division  of United States Center of Diseases Control and Prevention (US-CDC). 
Short Description on FETP
FETP (Field Epidemiology Training Program) established to address the shortage of skilled epidemiologist. FETP is an in-service and competency based training that require adequate and high quality field experiences. 
FETP Indonesia established in 1982 as a full year non-degree training program and become master program under the collaboration between P2P, Ministry of Health and University of Indonesia and University of Gadjah Mada. The ultimate goal of FETP is to strengthen human workforce in field epidemiology as outlined in Global Health Security Agenda and strengthen health system particularly surveillance and outbreak investigation. Currently 39 and 15 FETP students are doing their training at University of Indonesia and Gadjah Mada respectively. FETP Secretariat at P2P was established to coordinate, manage FETP activities and ensure that FETP graduates meets standard FETP competencies.

1. Progam Officer, 1 position

POSITION TITLE     :   Program Officer for Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) Secretariat
REPORTING TO      :   FETP Director
OFFICE LOCATION Sub Directorate of Surveillance, Directorate General of Disease Control & Prevention
EMPLOYER             :  Yayasan ALERTAsia (ALERTAsia), Jakarta


POSITION SUMMARY:
An experienced Program Officer to oversee the implementation of FETP activities and the strengthening of the FETP Secretariat.
S/he will work mostly in administering the FETP Secretariat by working with the Sub Directorate of Surveillance. S/he will also be responsible for future program development in the FETP Secretariat. S/he will also have to provide support for the implementation of other programs.
S/he will also assist FETP Director in overseeing day-to-day office administrative and communication tasks at FETP Secretariat.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Program implementation, oversight and development
  • Assist the FETP Director in leading the implementation of the FETP strengthening and career pathways program
  • Organizes trainings, roundtables, networking events and other activities to achieve the goal of the FETP capacity building program
  • Works together with Sub Directorate of Surveillance staff for FETP future program development
  • Develops work plans, budgets and progress reports as required by ALERTAsia, donors and other partners
  • Manages the relationship with universities—key local partners in the program
  • Maintains relationships with current and potential funding sponsors and networks with other FETPs in order to create a network of field epidemiology units in which peer-learning and experience-sharing can occur
  1. Communication& Monitor and Evaluation
Contributes to Centre-wide public relations efforts and to knowledge dissemination and utilization, including participation in Public Health nationally and globally by:
  • Represents FETP Secretariat to government officials, funding sources, other partners, beneficiaries, and at conferences
  • Ensures monitoring and evaluation activities and reporting meet ALERTAsia’s and Sub Directorate of Surveillance standards, and are completed on schedule
  • Reviews and finalizes program reports
  1. Financial management and grant oversight
  • Responsible for implementing activities in accordance with project or activity budgets.
  • Consults with Finance and Accounting Manager regarding best practices for financial administration of project work
  • Develops and monitors the grant agreements and sub-agreements for project partners
  • Works with Resident Advisors and Business Official/Operations Manager to revise budgets, as needed
  1. Other
  • Assists in the implementation of other programs activities  in FETP Secretariat, as needed
  • Supports the FETP Secretariat Director in various administrative tasks

RELATIONSHIPS
  • Reports to FETP Secretariat Director
  • Coordinates closely with the ALERTAsia’s key project staff, Resident Advisors and the universities key personnel,
  • Provides support and interacts with the Surveillance Sub Directorate and other key program staff

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • An advanced degree in public health, preferably with focus on field epidemiology, or other related degree
  • 5+ years of experience managing aid development and/or civil society projects.
  • Previous experience or understanding of the field epidemiology training program.
  • Proven project management skills with experience managing multiple projects and/or working for a non-profit organisation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and mentoring skills to work effectively with university partners and subordinates.
  • A track record that demonstrates energy and creativity, and the ability to successfully prioritize and manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated success in project planning, financial management, program monitoring, report writing, and identifying and procuring technical assistance. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Experience in data processing (Microsoft Word), spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel), E-mail, and Internet browser software.
  • Strong English skills (spoken and written).


2. Technical Officers, 2 positions

POSITION TITLE      :  Technical Officer for Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) Secretariat
REPORTING TO      :   FETP Director
OFFICE LOCATION :  Sub Directorate of Surveillance, Directorate General of Disease Control & Prevention
EMPLOYER              :  Yayasan ALERTAsia (ALERTAsia), Jakarta


POSITION SUMMARY:
An experienced Technical Officer to assist the FETP Director in the implementation of FETP projects’ activities.
S/he will work closely with the Resident Advisors and the FETP Program Officer in conducting the FETP activities. S/he will also have to monitor and evaluate the implementation.

OBJECTIVES:
  • To align FETP curriculum across the university
  • To improve the quality of FETP works
  • To strengthen FETP writing and communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.      To align FETP curriculum
Review of FETP curriculum at the universities will be conducted by the USCDC team to identify strengths, weaknesses and improvement. Following the assessment, curriculum workshop will be conducted to share the results of evaluation and improve, and align FETP curriculum based on the recommendations.
2.      To improve the quality of FETP students’ field works
Strong field supervision and mentoring are keys components to improve the quality of FETP students’ field works.
  • National Field Supervisors workshop will be conducted to update and upgrade the knowledge and skills, mentoring capacity of Field supervisors to make sure they are able to provide adequate mentoring to the students.
  • Regional coordination meeting between field supervisors and university will be conducted at least once a year to evaluate the performance of students while in the field and to identify problems in the fields and its solutions
3.      To strengthen FETP writing and communication skills
  • National Scientific Epidemiology Conference (NSCE) will be conducted annually to improve the capacity of the students in scientific writing and communicate the findings of their studies. NSCE provide opportunity to the FETP students to share their experiences.

  • Reports to FETP Director
  • Coordinates closely with Resident Advisors and the universities key personnel,

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong interpersonal and coordination skills to work effectively with university partners.
  • A track record that demonstrates energy and creativity, and the ability to successfully prioritize and manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated success in technical assistance, project planning, program monitoring, and report writing. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Experience in data processing (Office applications, SPSS, EPI Info, Access, etc.).
  • Strong English skills (spoken and written).


3. Administrative Officer, 1 position

POSITION TITLE      Administrative Officer for Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) Secretariat
REPORTING TO     :  FETP Program Manager
OFFICE LOCATION: Sub Directorate of Surveillance, Directorate General of Disease Control & Prevention
EMPLOYER             : Yayasan ALERTAsia (ALERTAsia), Jakarta


POSITION SUMMARY:
An experienced Administrative Officer to assist the FETP Program Officer in the implementation of FETP programs.
S/he will work closely with the FETP Program Officer in conducting the FETP activities. S/he will also assist the FETP Director in the administration of FETP Secretariat. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 
1.      Under the direct supervision and management of the FETP Program Officer, the Administrative Officer will be responsible for the project administration in line with the Ministry of Health and ALERTAsia standards and regulations.
2.      The Administrative Officer will work closely with all members of the FETP Unit and consult with relevant ALERTAsia officers.
3.      Responsible for the day-to-day administration of project activities and for the facilitation of the exchange of information between related stakeholders in the project implementation process.
4.      Specific responsibilities and tasks are described as follows:
  • Support developing work plans of the FETP in line with project management regulation of the Government and ALERTAsia.
  • Provide administrative support and logistical support; assist the Program Officer in administering the use of project inputs; manage project assets.
  • Prepare agreements with designated cooperating agencies and sub-contractors, and in monitoring implementation of these agreements;
  •  Assist in collecting data and information and in organizing and drafting project management reports including quarterly and annual report, and organizing reviews and evaluation workshop, in collaboration with Sub Directorate of Surveillance, universities and ALERTAsia
  • Report to, and regularly update the Program Officer on progress, problems and constraints of project implementation;
  • Support project document translation; or provide interpretation services for the universities.
  • Other duties and responsibilities to be requested by the FETP Director or the Program Officer

QUALIFICATIONS 
1.      Bachelor degree in economics, public administration or a related field (a degree from public health is a plus).
2.      Broad knowledge on public administration reform and civil service in Indonesia, and working experiences on issues related to project activities.
3.      Hand-on experiences on project administration, inclusively on activity planning, reporting, progress monitoring, result evaluation
4.      Good interpersonal and team building skills
5.      Demonstrated capacity to take initiatives and achieve results
6.      Strong organizational and office management skills, with excellent computer skills
7.      Fluent in English (good at translation and interpretation)
